Yunrui Zhang
About Me
Hi there! I recently submitted my Ph.D. thesis at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Salil Kanhere and Prof. Gustavo Batista. I am now starting a new role at Monash University in Melbourne as a resaerch fellow, working in Geoff Webb’s team on time series and spatio-temporal analysis.
Research Interests
My research interests are focused on the uncertainty of machine learning models, dataset shift, and time series analysis.
- Uncertainty: Calibration, Calibration Metrics, Calibration of Deep Neural Networks
- Dataset Shift: Label Shift Estimation, Quantification, Prior Adaptation
- Large Language Model: Uncertainty Estimation for Open-ended Generation, Cascading, Large Language Model Sampling
- Time Series: Time Series Classification, Time Series Forecasting, Spatio-Temporal Models, Multi-modal Time Series Analysis
